Dr. Bill Ranelle, D.O., F.A.A.O


Dr. H. William Ranelle is a board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology with outstanding credentials.  He is on the forefront of technology.  He was the first physician in Fort Worth to perform the modern cataract implant which has become the standard of practice for cataract removal.  He uses a common-sense approach with his patients ensuring confidence and trust while utilizing state-of-the-art treatments for both surgical and non-surgical conditions. He can guarantee quality of care and the most recent and innovative treatment available to you in the field of ophthalmology.

Years of medical experience allow Dr. Ranelle to help thousands of patients evaluate and solve their eye problems.  Growing up in a medical family, Dr. Ranelle's approach to medicine remains compassionate and committed to his patients. 

In 2003, Dr. Ranelle was awarded the Humanitarian Service Award from the American College of Ophthalmology. A founder of Alliance for Sight, Dr. Ranelle takes regular mission trips to underprivileged countries to help those in need of vision care. Dr. Ranelle is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, a Fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology, and certified by the American Board of Eye Surgery.

Dr. Ann Ranelle, D.O., F.O.C.O.

Dr. Ann RanelleDr. Ann E. Ranelle is a Fort Worth native who received her undergraduate degree from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. She attended medical school at Kansas City University of Medical and Biosciences and went on to complete her residency in ophthalmology at the Detroit Osteopathic Ophthalmology Consortium. She completed fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at Children’s Hospital in Detroit.

Dr. Ann Ranelle is board-certified and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Academy of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus.
